Great spot in Rowlett to get some tasty brunch items. Even better, kids eat free on Mondays. They also have the most adorable bear shaped cubes of frozen drink. It keeps the drink cool without watering it down while looking super cute. Even better it hits the rare balance of being both a good spot for a family meal a nice date spot. Check this place out!!
They have banana Nutella waffles! 🧇🍫😍That’s my favourite! We loved the food, but our table was sticky and the portions seemed a bit small, everything else was great!
Seated quickly on an early Sunday morning with only a few tables sat already. By the time I left they were mostly full. Server did not check on our table once outside seating, bringing drinks and food, then check. Ran out of water halfway through my meal. Waited around 7 minutes with dishes pushed back thrn cleared by another server and who asked about a water refill at that point before the server came over so I could pay and leave. Food was cooked well, however, the omelette and hash browns had more grease than expected, vand with very little seasoning, and the biscuit was also cooked well but turned into a mush with little flavor as you ate it. Unfortunately, this was probably my only visit to this restaurant that is so close to my home. Based on service, food flavoring it's hard to justify the cost of the meal, but the ingredients did seem fresh.
Let's start with the positives: the wait time was short, given that it was at 11am on a Monday. It has a decent atmosphere. Makeyla, our server, was very nice. The big con: so there are multiple signs when you walk in that state "kids eat free Monday-Friday". Get excited! I order meals for my kids thinking that they are, in fact, free...only to be told by our server as the food is ready that her manager told her that it's only one free meal per adult. Had that been specified BEFORE ordering, I would understand. But you waited until the food was done to inform your server. Furthermore, both servers came up to me and apologized stating that they were just now told that information. That's pretty bad and very unprofessional- it makes your staff and your business look incompetent. The one positive note is that the manager was willing to take off the kids meals as I was walking out the door to go somewhere else. Without kids eating free, their meals really aren't worth the price- you only get either the carbs or the protein, not both. So I ended up having to order pancakes or waffles for them all because it wasn't a complete meal. Would I come back here? No. I've seen enough to know that this establishment isn't ran well, and even the servers knew that 🙁. I'll spend more money and go to Eggquisite or somewhere with better management.
What don't I like about 30 Brunch On Dalrock!?! I love the food and the atmosphere and the staff is really nice. There isn't a time that I've been here and i didn't enjoy it. Even when they have new staff, the service is great. I even go over from time to time to tuck away in a little cor wr booth and get some work done. I grab my laptop, earbuds, place my order and get in the zone. Yeah... I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast/ brunch or lunch for One, a date, family meals, group gathering or just a good cup of specialty coffee. I promise I wasn't paid to give this review. I'm just telling the truth. I appreciate this spot.
Frozen heated up breakfast food! 15.00 better off at McDonalds. Very poor quality cheap food. I thought it was a restaurant, that kinda money Denny’s, IHOP, waffle house. No Thanks
The Benedict salmon is awesome. Our waitress Charlotte is wonderful. Pancakes can be more fluffy, just a little dry The chicken house is good too. It's all decently price and the admosphere is great, will come back and try other menu.
I'm happy to have a brunch place so close to home! The food was surprisingly good 🥓🧇🥞🍳 we ordered two skillets with steak and potatoes. Both had great flavors! We had a side of French toast, and it was good. The portion sizes were good, too. The service and atmosphere were a little shaky. My server didn't know what a poinsettia was or a poached egg, so I'm thinking more training is absolutely needed, especially since these items are on your menu. The atmosphere is a nice open concept. However, the decor is very DIY.
